    Cooking instructions

    Thaw Fable Shiitake Infusion and mix with beef, form into desired format and cook immediately or refrigerate. Refreeze if holding for more than one day.

    For patties and meatballs, grill or cook in a hot pan on Medium-High to High heat for 2–3 minutes on each side, reaching an internal temperature of at least 70°C/160°F. Ideal serving temperature is 50–60°C/120–140°F.

    For regular mince, place Fable beef blend into hot pan on High heat for 2–3 minutes, or until browned. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes, then break into crumbles cooking for a further 3–4 minutes on Medium-High heat, or until all browned.

    Yes! There’s no artificial colors or flavors, all natural ingredients. Compared to regular beef mince (typically 20% fat), our product has 35% less saturated fat, 50% less cholesterol, 17% less calories, and is packed with 8 grams per serve of fiber.

    We source our shiitake mushrooms from China, where 89% of the worlds shiitake mushroom supply is located. We have a team managing this closely as we source only the highest quality mushrooms.
